a seasoned Calgary-based filmmaker and founder of Boléro Studios, has cultivated a refined approach to storytelling over his 9-year career. His ability to ask the right questions during interviews has allowed him to engage with influential figures across various sectors, resulting in thought-provoking and impactful narratives.
Starting as a Freelance Producer and Director, Eric developed his skills in creative direction and editing, revealing the essence of each unique story. His adaptability in overcoming challenging environments has contributed to his artistic growth and his compelling video narratives.
Boléro Studios, founded by Eric, is a creative space focused on producing educational documentaries and films that enrich learning experiences. With an artistic vision that transcends boundaries, Eric, fluent in Spanish and attuned to diverse cultures, leads his dedicated team in creating visually captivating, authentic, and impactful content.
Mia Fortier
Production Manager
Mia Fortier is a recent graduate of the SAIT / U of C Bachelor of Film Studies program. She is an experienced professional with a wide range of skills in the film industry, including Second Unit Director, Assistant Director, and Location Manager. She has recently joined the team at Bolero Studios as a Production Manager, where she is utilizing her skills and expertise to help bring projects to life.
With a passion for storytelling and a keen eye for detail, Mia has been instrumental in ensuring that Bolero Studios' productions are executed efficiently and effectively. She is skilled in all aspects of production management, from budgeting and scheduling to crew management and logistics.
Mia's previous experience includes work on a range of film and television projects, including the film "Prey" and "The Last of Us".
Benjamin San Martin
Lead Editor
Benjamin is a highly skilled film editor and colourist originally from Chile, with a wealth of experience in the industry. He has worked on a variety of projects, ranging from feature films to music videos, and is known for his ability to bring stories to life through his mastery of the editing process.
In Chile, Benjamin worked with some of the top artists in the country, including Pailita, honing his craft and developing a keen sense of storytelling. Now based in Canada, he has established himself as a talented Lead Editor, bringing his unique perspective and vision to each project he works on.
Benjamin's ability to work collaboratively with directors and producers, coupled with his technical expertise, has made him a sought-after talent in the industry. His attention to detail and commitment to delivering the highest quality results for his clients make him an invaluable asset to any production.
