Red Deer River Watershed Alliance

Bolero Studios is excited to present, Source Waters: The Rivers That Shape Us. This short film is an intimate and captivating exploration of the Red Deer River and its importance to the surrounding communities and landscapes.

Filmed in 2020, this documentary offers an essential and educational experience for anyone interested in understanding the ecology and history of the Red Deer River watershed.

Source Waters: The Rivers That Shape Us takes viewers on a journey from the river's true headwaters in Banff National Park all the way to the Alberta-Saskatchewan border.

This film is part of a larger effort by the Red Deer River Watershed Alliance to spark important discussions about watershed management with municipal decision-makers. In addition to the documentary, Bolero Studios has produced three additional videos designed specifically for these decision-makers, providing essential context for discussions around the environmental and societal impacts of watershed management.

We are incredibly proud of this project and believe it will make a valuable contribution to the conversations around the importance of watershed management in our communities.
